Three weeks ago I wrote about Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto signing a bill legalizing the use of medicinal cannabis THC, CBD, and all cannabis derivatives. The new legislation also makes it legal to produce and distribute cannabis for medical and therapeutic purposes.

This week, the global trend of cannabis legalization continues in the U.S.

On July 1, Nevada became the fifth U.S. state to legalize recreational cannabis.

This is going to be another huge cannabis market, fueled by the tens of millions of tourists that visit Las Vegas every year.

Mexico Legalizes Medical Cannabis - Here's How You Can Profit

Legal cannabis scored another big victory this week.

In April, Mexico's lower parliament overwhelmingly voted to legalize medical cannabis, voting 357 to 7.

Then, earlier this week, Mexico's President Enrique Pena Nieto signed the bill into law, legalizing the use of medicinal cannabis THC, CBD, and all cannabis derivatives. The new legislation also makes it legal to produce and distribute cannabis for medical and therapeutic purposes.

Early estimates project sales between $1 billion and $2 billion in the first 10 years. That would come out to between $100 and $200 million per year.

The size of Mexico's young cannabis market will pale in comparison to the US and Canada.

Aurora Delivers 2,500% Revenue Growth in 12 Months

First-quarter earnings season is almost over.

And the cannabis sector has been knocking it out of the park.

A lot of the stocks that we have covered over the last few months have stepped up and delivered excellent results.

In terms of pure growth, the best report I've seen came from Aurora Cannabis (ACBFF), one of the largest medical cannabis companies in Canada

First Ever Cannabis ETF: Friend or Foe?

If you like getting a good deal then once again the time has come to take a look at cannabis stocks.

The cannabis sector has fallen into a bear market. A bear market happens when a stock falls 20% or more from its 52-week high.

After posting massive gains in 2016 and early 2017 – the MJIC Index North American Cannabis Index is down 25% from its 52-week high. Take a look.

This Little-Known Israeli Biotech Is Up 468% In 2017

Israel has long been a powerhouse in medical innovation.

The tiny country of 8.5 million has made some of the most important contributions to the global medical field in the last 50 years.

Today, Israel is unleashing its innovative medical industry on the cannabis industry.

According to a report from Reuters, there are more than 120 clinical cannabis trials in Israel at the beginning of 2017, more than any other country.

Foreign countries and firms are eager to license Israel cannabis medical patents. In the last year outside countries and companies have invested $100 million to license Israeli medical cannabis patents.

That number is expected to grow to more than $1 billion in the next two years - an increase of 1,000%.
