Stocks Recover From Early Losses

Hello MarketClub members everywhere. Stocks have bounced back from their session lows as traders turn their attention to some key White House proposals that include tax reform.

The Dow was down as much as 183 pts this morning, continuing an eight-day streak of losses The S&P 500 pulled back 0.1%, also off its session lows. The Nasdaq has recovered from earlier losses to trade 0.2% higher.

Crude oil has fallen today, continuing the trend from last week as a pledge by OPEC-led producers to consider extending their output cut deal failed to excite traders. They expressed concern that they will need more time to trim global stockpiles.

Gold & Silver: Gold Was Benched, Silver Is Still In The Game

We should wait for the market to show us the way by moving the price on the chart with visible changes. I posted the fresh tactical map for both metals 2 weeks ago using the daily time frame. The market is moving within my expectations so far and I decided to post an update using lower time frame charts, which could supplement the picture as no big levels were triggered yet. It would be useful for those who are not yet in the game and are looking for fresh opportunities to enter.

I dedicated the very first chart to the comparison of top metals’ behavior as several times before we witnessed that one top metal signals upcoming changes in the market earlier than the other. Putting them side by side clearly shows the differences in their price behavior, not seen in the separate charts.

The starting period for the chart above was chosen for the low in gold price established on the 10th of March as silver dropped to a new 5 day low later on the 15th of March. Stocks Stuck On Hold As Healthcare Vote Looms

Hello MarketClub members everywhere. The markets are relatively unchanged on the day as traders await the outcome of the vote on the healthcare bill that is seen as a test of President Donald Trump's ability to pass his legislative agenda through Congress.

Oil And Health Bill Vote Drag The Markets Down

Hello MarketClub members everywhere. The stock market is mixed today as traders continue to watch and listen to developments regarding the House's health care proposal and falling oil prices.

The markets suffered their worst day of the year on Tuesday with the DOW falling 237 points, this was largely due to fears that a prolonged battle in Congress to repeal and replace Obamacare could delay tax reform, deregulation and government spending.

U.S. crude oil futures have fallen 1.2% to a new 3 month low of $47.01 per barrel after the American Petroleum Institute said Tuesday afternoon that U.S. inventories increased by 4.5 million barrels.

U.S. Dollar Slips As Stocks Fluctuate

Hello MarketClub members everywhere. The market is relatively unchanged today after erasing earlier losses as real estate and technology turned higher and traders turned their eyes to comments from several Federal Reserve officials.

The U.S. central bank raised interest rates for the second time in three months last week, but the "dot plot" that shows each member's expectations for where rates will be in coming years changed little from the last meeting.
