Chart to Watch - Natural Gas

We've asked our friend Jim Robinson of profittrading.com to provide his expert analysis of charts to our readers. Each week he'll be be analyzing a different chart using the Trade Triangles and his experience.

Today he is going to take a look at the technical picture of March Natural Gas (NG.H13.E).

I hope you are having a GREAT week !

This week we will take a look at March Natural Gas.

The monthly MarketClub Trade Triangle for Natural Gas is green which means the long-term trend is up.

The weekly MarketClub Trade Triangle for Natural Gas is red which means the intermediate-term trend is down.

If Natural Gas trades higher from here and the weekly Trade Triangle turns green that will mean all time frames are points up.

When all time frames are pointing in the same direction odds are the market will continue in that direction.

The 50 day simple moving average shows that Natural Gas is trending higher.

The MACD is on a buy signal.

So the 50 day moving average and MACD are showing the odds are with the upside right now.

So this is definitely looks like a great Chart to Watch right now as the picture will turn extremely bullish if the weekly MarketClub Trade Triangle does turn green !!

Thanks,
Jim Robinson

  2. American innovation has produced something again in natural gas. Without the federal support and the trendy environmentalists praising it as they sip their green tea, these crazy frackers have produced something that is almost as Carbon neutral as wind or biofuels. The best part is that it is causing real solutions to our energy problems and 2/3rds of its emisions are water! If you take a molecule of methane and burn it with three Oxygens, the one Carbon becomes CO2 and each of the pairs of Hydrogens bond with an Oxygen to produce water, fresh, clean drinkable water. And right now, it is so cheap that Obama will soon be taking credit for it.

  3. Adam...please include nat gas in your daily updates with silver, gold and oil...also suggest stocks etfs are ung, boil , fcg..thanks.

  4. BP found out that natural gas causes explosions as a little kid i used to travel across northern texas and oklahoma and see the wells burning off the gas lighting up the night sky............now they have learned to compress it and use it in tanks and pipelines. As BP and others pump off the natural gas instead of dealing with potential explosions, the coal powered electric plants will start using natural gas instead of dirty coal with special chimneys to recycle the air for a second burn to help clean up the air. We now have in minneapolis a pipeline that goes along side the railroad tracks that used to haul coal to the electric power plant in MONTEVIDEO AND ALSO ST CLOUD ALONG WITH BECKER MINNESOTA WHICH MEANS COAL WILL BE USED LESS AND LESS AS NATURAL GAS TAKES IT'S PLACE. now all we need is a pipeline from WILLISTON NORTH DAKOTA TO THE TWIN CITIES and we will be on our way to cheaper energy. nitroman
