About Raia
Joseph Raia is currently the CME Group's Managing Director of Energy & Metals Products and Services. Raia has held a variety of positions throughout his twenty-two years in the energy and transport sectors. In 2001 Raia was selected as the Senior Vice-President of Marketing for the New York Mercantile Exchange where he played an integral roll in the launch of the NYMEX Clear-Port trading and clearing platform.
Prior to working with the exchanges, Raia served as a energy industry consultant for Aquila Energy in Kansas City. He also served as Senior Vice-President of Business Development, anchor and analyst for JAGFN, a live financial news show.
Raia continues to provide analysis on the energy markets for the CME Group as well as visitors to the CME Groups free educational series.
